We are Roxie and Gina, redheaded sisters who both live/work/go to school in Washington, DC, and like to cook/bake/eat (especially that last one). We have traveled all over the world and like all kinds of foods and cuisines- it would be very hard to find more than two ingredients neither of us will eat. Roxie doesn’t think she likes oysters because they are slimy, but Gina has recently conquered her lifelong aversion to mushrooms. We will be blogging about recipes we like, cooking tips, ways to eat cheaply, and the places we love to eat both around DC and all over the world. We are by no means professional or even experienced cooks, but love trying out new things and making the best of our small kitchens and low budgets. We promise to include our failures as well as successes in the kitchen, and we hope you enjoy both. Also no, we are not twins. Please stop asking.
